In the United States of America people such as Alvin Ailey, Loie Fuller, Isadora Duncan, Ruth St Denis, Doris Humphrey, Katherine Dunham, and also Martha Graham developed, styled and also laid down the foundations of American modern dance. Modern dance has been around for a long time and still today is danced.
